Leading the Sustainable Business Agenda

This week KJR joined Business Chamber Queensland (formerly CCIQ) and various Queensland based businesses for their Business Matters event in Brisbane which focused on leading the sustainable business agenda for Queensland.

The conversation about sustainable innovation in the journey to the 2032 Brisbane Olympics was insightful and exciting as we join the efforts of developing a sustainable Queensland business legacy.

“At KJR we have some innovative projects embedded in the business right now targeted at addressing environmental issues, including training programs for indigenous park rangers in North Queensland on using drone technology to enable them to work more efficiently in areas such as land management and flood mitigation. Events like these [CCQM] highlight a strong collective drive to creating positive change for the state” Queensland GM Graham Cummins says.

KJR’s Strategic Business Development Manager, Brett Lyndon adds “Sustainable businesses are future-ready businesses – ready to meet evolving consumer demand, chain needs, ready to export, be competitive for procurement opportunities and maximise a sustainable Olympics legacy. KJR is continually looking at how we can become more sustainable from environmental, economic and socially responsible perspectives.”
