Knowledge is power

If you're not exploring, you're not growing. Which is why KJR invests significantly in understanding the past, present and future of our digitally enabled world.

The journey to responsible AI usage is ongoing and there is more work to be done, especially in areas of high-risk AI usage. KJR provided feedback on the federal government’s proposal to introduce mandatory guardrails for high-risk AI.
AI is advancing rapidly, and is extremely powerful at developing insights and correlations, even exceeding human capability. However, as humans we are struggling to understand how and what AI has learned, and how it can safely augment and in some cases far extend the potential of human decision-making.
Over the past few years, KJR has actively engaged in multiple AI and drone projects, collaborating with Indigenous businesses, schools and ranger teams throughout Queensland and Torres Strait. Via these projects, KJR is contributing to a number of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including Goal 4, 8, 10, 13,14 and 15. It reflects our commitment to think further for our clients, partners and society.
KJR ACT General Manager Andrew Hammond is invited as an expert panelist to AIIA's event in Melbourne “AIIA and KPMG: Navigating AI Report Roadshow" on the 12th of July. It follows his contribution to the AIIA and KPMG report ‘Navigating AI: Analysis and guidance on the use and adoption of AI’. The report is a practical guide and checklist for business and Government considering principled adoption of AI.
